Imi Peeler Road – No. 3

Here is number 3 in Imi Peeler Road, my new series exploring the charming and insightful things young children say as they try to understand their world.

Today’s installment is from an exchange between a kindergarten boy and his student-teacher, a former student of mine.

Boy:  “When I grow up you’ll marry me.”                                                       Student-Teacher:  “When you grow up I’ll be even older, though.”   Boy:  “That’s OK.  I love you just the way you are.”
